Torchlight, a leading provider of employee-caregiver support solutions, announced today that Ann Gargis and Paul Harsha have joined the executive leadership team of the company. Gargis, as Senior Director of Sales and Business Development, is responsible for Torchlight’s sales strategy, market development, and product distribution of the company’s premier caregiver support solutions. Harsha, as Director of Engineering, is leading the Engineering team in support of the company’s accelerated product development initiatives. Both Gargis and Harsha report directly to Adam Goldberg, M.Ed., Torchlight’s CEO.
“We are extremely pleased to announce that Ann Gargis and Paul Harsha have joined Torchlight,” said Goldberg. “Ann’s experience as a caregiver herself, with a proven track record of facilitating successful health and wellbeing outcomes in partnership with employers, health plans, and leading brokers and consultants, makes her the ideal sales leader for Torchlight.”
Before joining Torchlight, Gargis spent the last four years at Mercer, a global HR consulting firm, where she led her team in new client sales. Before Mercer, she was Director of Employer Sales at Benefitfocus and also spent seven years as Corporate Sales Manager for national accounts at ADP. Within the industry, Gargis is also a sponsor of a Women’s Executive Network in Pittsburgh, member of the Executive Women’s Council, Allegheny Conference and a supporter of 412 Food Rescue and the Highmark Caring Place.
“I am thrilled to join the Torchlight team and look forward to bringing Torchlight’s caregiver support solutions to an expanding list of organizations that believe, as we do, that caring is everyone’s business and caring is good business,” said Gargis. “I am also excited to serve as a strong voice for prospects, customers, and partners on the Torchlight leadership team during such a critical time.”
“We are equally fortunate to have Paul join us. Paul’s 25 year career working with startups and technology companies in building quick-moving, productive, customer-focused teams and leading them in taking technology to the next level will be invaluable to us as we continue to expand our footprint with the most innovative caregiver support solutions in the market,” said Goldberg.
“I am really pleased to be joining Torchlight at this critical point in our country’s history when we are all realizing how critical caregivers are,” said Harsha. “Now, more than ever, scalable expert solutions are required to provide the most equity and inclusion in making caregiver support accessible to the millions of families in need, especially those struggling to remain productive and engaged in the workforce.”
